Hologram applicator
THE HOLOGRAM APPLICATOR enables the automatic application of holograms using thermal transfer technology (hot stamping) onto reflective sheeting used to produce the license plates. Holograms are applied during roll-to-roll processing of the reflective sheeting. The device supports both continuous holographic tape (“wallpaper”) and positioned holograms, where the hologram contour can match the shape of the stamp.
The applicator is equipped with a color touch-screen operator panel integrated with a PLC, allowing full parameter setup and real-time visualization of operating status. The system supports both chromium- and aluminum-based holographic materials.
Optionally, the device can be equipped with an integrated laser marking module for reflective sheeting. This enables the marking of watermarks, individual serial numbers, and 1D and 2D codes (e.g. barcodes, QR and Data Matrix codes) within the same process, ensuring high marking precision, full control of security features and optimized production time.
